Immunization Clinics
Immunization clinics including Influenza, Hepatitis B, Pneumonia, and Zostavax
are provided at work sites for employees; to the public at Senior Centers,
libraries, grocery stores, community centers and churches; and to residents
of Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF), Adult Day Care Centers, and
Assisted Living Facilities.
The cost of influenza vaccination is $28. Home Health United accepts
cash, VISA, MasterCard, Medicaid and Medicare B. Recipients are asked to
bring the Medicare Part B or Medicaid card to the clinic and present
it to the volunteer.

Foot Care Clinics
Certified
Nursing Assistants provide regular foot care clinics at local senior centers.
HHU also provides specialty foot care clinics for diabetics that are staffed
by a registered nurse.
Community / Corporate Wellness
Home Health United staff present workplace programs on health and wellness
topics. Also, HHU professionals provide a wide variety of workplace testing including:
- Pre-employment physicals
- Tuberculosis testing, immunizations
- Body fat analysis
- Cholesterol screening
- Blood pressure screening
- Blood glucose screening
We strive to keep seniors healthy and living in their own homes.
Our staff provide the following to assisted living facilities, senior centers and coalitions throughout our service area.

- Health risk assessments
Community Education
Includes wellness seminars on topics like: heart health, body mechanics, long range planning and advanced directives, Standard and Bloodborne Pathogen Precautions, ergonomics, and education on specific diseases and management such diabetes, hypertension, shingles, heart failure.
Assisted Living Facility Nurse Consultant
Includes health monitoring of facility residents, medication review, diabetic foot care, and pre-employment physicals and screening. State approved CBRF inservices available.
