About the Foundation
The Home Health United-Visiting Nurse Service Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation that supports the delivery of home health care ranging from basic needs services such as Meals on Wheels and home companions to comprehensive nursing care, home medical equipment and telemedicine. Visiting nurses have made “house calls” throughout southern Wisconsin for over 100 years. Although the foundation office is located in Madison, funds raised support services provided in 25 counties of southern Wisconsin.
Through the Home Health United - Visiting Nurse Service Foundation, you are able to touch lives in a very meaningful way. Founded in 1999, the Foundation is the fundraising arm of Home Health United (HHU) and gives people the opportunity to support the multitude of services HHU offers to keep people healthy and living independently in their own homes.
Immense challenges continue for all who provide home health care. More needs exist than financial resources are available. Meeting those financial needs is our basis for raising additional funds.
