Earn a Disney Day
Volunteer for Home Health United – Meals on Wheels (HHU - MOW) and you can earn a ticket to Disney parks through the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" program. Certified volunteers get a one-day ticket to any park at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., or Walt Disney World near Orlando, Fla., in 2010.
Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver mid-day meals to elderly and disabled people in Middleton, Madison and Monona allowing them to remain safe and independent in their own homes. Each delivery route takes about one hour to complete and directions are provided. Individuals or families that deliver five times will be certified to receive a Disney pass.
Visit the Disney web site and sign up. Sue Barker, HHU - MOW volunteer coordinator, will send you an email stating the requirements. Contact her to confirm your interest and she will give you further instructions.
