Whether the need is temporary or lasting, HHU has many options to help maintain mobility. For short-term use, there is a large inventory of folding wheelchairs in many sizes and with features including detachable arms, elevating leg rests, and reclining backs. For long-term use, HHU has qualified and experienced staff who will work one-on-one with the patient to determine how to best meet mobility requirements according to the physicians’ or therapists’ recommendations.
