Position: Repair Technician Rehab Equipment

Home Health United is looking for a Repair Technician for our Rehab Equipment division at our Madison west office.

This position will work specifically with medical equipment. Previous experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment is required. Only candidates meeting this qualification will be considered. Assembly and maintenance of equipment per product specifications, and the ability to use hand and powertools is required.

The successful candidate will have be experienced in the maintenance, repair and custom fabrication of wheelchairs. The ability to program and perform diagnosis on electric wheel chairs, diagnosis and repair of electrical scooters and repair of patient lifts (hoyers) is required. Must have knowledge of electricity including both a/c and d/c circuits. Diagnosis and maintenance of oxygen concentrators and liquid oxygen reservoirs is required. This position is also responsible for researching and sourcing parts for equipment from a variety of vendors. Ability to submit orders and follow-up with a variety of vendors is required. Must have excellent communication and record keeping ability.

The successful candidate will have contact with patients, vendors and internal customers. This position requires exemplary customer service skills along with the ability to work with a variety of people. Must be have effective verbal and written communication skills.

This position requires the ability to assist with the delivery of products. This position requires the ability to lift medical equipment. Basic computer skills are required. Must have valid WI drivers license with good driving record.

Full-time Monday-Friday, excellent benefits.
