SAFE at Home Volunteers Needed

Help Your Fellow Dane County Community Members Stay SAFE.

Home Health United is seeking volunteers to assist the SAFE at Home program by conducting home safety assessments to help Dane County residents aged 65 and older stay safely in their homes for as long as possible. Volunteers will be provided training from Home Health United professionals. Upon completion of their training volunteers will be asked to:

  • Drive to recipients’ homes
  • Follow a standard form related to safety in various rooms of the home
  • Provide general recommendations for overall safety in the home

All recipients will be residents of Dane County and volunteers can specify which geographic areas they would be interested in serving.

Please contact Home Health United at 608-223-7970 if you are interested in volunteering or to receive more information.
