2016-7-photo-staff-krista-bAugust 2016 – Krista B.

Krista has been with HHU since April 2015 and is our Customer Service Call Center Manager.  Krista and her team triage calls for both HHU and SSM for a 4 state area.  Many times customer’s first experience with HHU or SSM is with the Call Center.  Krista has a firm belief in helping out each customer and ensures that the level of customer service we provide both internally and externally is exceptional.  Because of this we have seen an improvement in the customer service we provide for all 4 states.  Krista came to HHU from Mayo Clinic in which she served as a Supervisor in the Telephone Office.  Krista always keeps a calm, positive attitude and takes her role and responsibilities seriously.  Please join us in congratulating Krista on this recognition!

What do you enjoy most about working at Home Health United?
I enjoy the fact that Home Health United is in the business of helping people. Our commitment to Home Health United’s values and mission is shown through our words and actions every day. I think we have really great employees at HHU from the front lines answering the phones or treating patients all the way up to Leadership. Everyone is committed to doing the right thing for our patients and customers.

What does Employee of the Month mean to you?
It is really rewarding to be recognized for doing a great job in my role. I was very fortunate to inherit a fantastic group of staff at the Switchboard/Call Center and we have since hired on some great people to fill out the work groups. They all have been so instrumental in the continual quality improvement of the Call Center and Switchboard operations. Being nominated for Employee of the Month means that our work to provide high-quality customer service has been noticed and appreciated.

When you’re not at Home Health United, what do you enjoy doing?

Since we are still fairly new to Madison my husband Chris and I enjoy getting to know all of the wonderful events, restaurants, and activities that the area has to offer.  I can never turn down dinner at The Cooper’s Tavern as it is my personal favorite. We were very excited to move to the Madison area and are happy to put down roots here. I enjoy making good use of my gym membership and have somehow become one of those people that enjoy running. When at home I enjoy spoiling our two cats, Belle and Sebastian, as well as reading a good detective or mystery novel.
