Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are another valuable part of the Home Health United team of caregivers. They evaluate your ability to perform daily activities such as dressing, bathing, household chores, or meal preparation. The evaluation includes identifying hindrances such as muscle strength, decreased coordination, or inability to bend or reach without losing your balance. They provide you with a program to address these issues and help you adapt to your environment as necessary.

Patients who have had a stroke or cardiac episode, spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery or arthritis can all benefit from occupational therapy services.
