Volunteer opportunities abound with Home Health United. We welcome people who give their time to hospice, Meals on Wheels, Flu Clinics, special events and office help.
Home Health United has provided hospice services to patients and families in Sauk, Richland and Columbia counties as well as surrounding communities for 15 years. Volunteers are an important part of the hospice caregiving team. They visit with patients, read to them, do light house work and some meal preparation.
Home Health United provides volunteers with comprehensive training before they begin assisting with patient care. For more information contact Jan at (608) 643-3398 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
For more than 30 years volunteers have delivered nutritious noontime meals to homebound individuals in Madison, Middleton and Monona. They also provide a safety check for these clients during the day. Routes are available seven days a week. You may pick up meals between 10:45 and 11:30 a.m. at one of four convenient locations. Delivery takes approximately one hour and you must use your own vehicle.
There are Meals on Wheels opportunities for businesses, churches, synagogues, social clubs and individuals. You can deliver as often as you like. For more information call 276-7582 or email@example.com.

Home Health United staffs hundreds of flu shot clinics throughout south central Wisconsin during October, November and December. Volunteers help people fill out consent forms, check Medicare cards and distribute information about influenza. The hours are flexible and time commitment is minimal. No special skills are required and you get a free flu shot!
For more information about how you can help protect your community from influenza, call 276-7582.
From time to time, Home Health United plans and hosts volunteer or donor recognition or fund raising events. Currently we are planning a September golf tournament at Trappers Turn in Wisconsin Dells, an October celebration of our Hospice program at Ishnala in Wisconsin Dells, and a November VNS Foundation donor recognition at the Governor's Residence. We would welcome your help with these events. Contact Jennie at 276-7582.
There are many varied opportunities in our offices to help us meet our goal of providing home health care services to all regardless of their ability to pay. No experience is necessary. We can provide you with a meaningful task for what ever time you can give us. Contact Jennie at 276-7582.
