Web Designer/Developer

Home Health United, a well-established durable medical equipment and home care provider, is currently seeking a creative, hard working, detail-oriented individual to work in the Information Technology Department.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for website program design, development, maintenance and administration duties.  Designs and builds web pages and features.  Ensures for the appeal, utility, and overall functionality of the company’s website.  Performs system enhancements.  Resolves web server and other issues. 
  • Creates, supports and maintains the company’s Intranet website.  Develops web portals to allow users to access sites.  Ensures for website security.  Responds to inquiries from users.  Troubleshoots problems.
  • Responds to requests for additions and/or enhancements to websites.  Meets with staff to ascertain website needs.  Designs databases.  Implements web-based features.  Performs testing of web applications.  Documents work and systems. 
  • Provides technical user support to facilitate the use of the company website and company Intranet.
  • Evaluates and supports existing custom created databases and worksheets.  Evaluates database functioning.  Identifies deficiencies and develops solutions.  Recommends and implements additions and/or modifications to existing database systems.  Responds to and resolves database issues including corruption issues.
  • Designs and develops custom databases.  Meets with users to establish needs.  Performs programming.  Writes and interprets complex SQL queries.  Builds database schemes, tables, procedures and permissions.  Develops reports to generate data.  Tests databases.  Evaluates database capacity and performance.  Implements databases.  
  • Provides technical instruction and user support to facilitate use of databases.


Associates degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with four to five years website and database design, development and administration experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills or abilities. 

Must possess demonstrated work experience with relational database management systems.
